- Register on the Passport Seva Portal:
- Create an account on the Passport Seva portal.
- Login and Fill Application Form:
- Log in to your account and fill in the required details in the online application form.
- Book Appointment:
- Schedule an appointment at the nearest Passport Seva Kendra.
- Visit Passport Seva Kendra:
- Visit the Passport Seva Kendra on the scheduled date and time for document verification.
- Payment of Fees:
- Pay the applicable passport fees online.
- Receive Passport:
- After successful verification, the passport will be dispatched to the applicant’s address.
- Register through the Passport Seva Online Portal. (Click on “Register Now” link on the Home Page).
- Login to the Passport Seva Online Portal with the registered Login Id.
- Click “Apply for Fresh Passport/Re-issue of Passport” link.
- Fill in the required details in the form and submit.
- Click the “Pay and Schedule Appointment” link on the “View Saved/Submitted Applications” screen to schedule an appointment.
- Click the “Print Application Receipt” link to print the application receipt containing Application Reference Number (ARN)/Appointment Number.

- While applying, the candidate will have to fill all the columns carefully so that no mistake can be made like – Name of the candidate, Father’s name, Mother’s name, Date of birth, Address, Qualification details.
- If upload is asked in the application form, then upload all the documents in the correct size and correct format, be it PDF or JPEG.
