The selection process for the Bihar consists of a written examination and interview. The written exam will cover subjects such as General Education, Child Development, and Subject Pedagogy.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Any Stream from a Recognized University in India.

Paper 1 (Secondary)

• Bachelor Degree in Related Subject with 50% Marks and B.Ed Exam Passed
• Master Degree in Related Subject and B.Ed Exam Passed
• Bachelor Degree / Master Degree with Minimum 45% Marks (As per NCTE Norms) with B.Ed.

Paper 2 (Higher Secondary)

• Master Degree in Related Subject and B.Ed Exam Passed
• Bachelor Degree in Related Subject with 50% Marks and B.Ed Exam Passed
• Bachelor Degree / Master Degree with Minimum 45% Marks (As per NCTE Norms) with B.Ed.
